Saunton Sands is a family-friendly beach and offers a beachside cafe, surfboard hire, beach huts and a popular restaurant over-looking the surf. Saunton golf club is just a 2 min drive. If you're feeling energetic, there are amazing walks across the fields to Croyde or over Braunton Burrows to the 3 mile beach at Saunton and onto Crow Point (the location-scene for many well-known films and TV shows). The neighbouring village of Braunton boasts some great restaurants, take aways and boutique shops and the famous Croyde village is just a 10 min drive round the headland. Over the hills behind the house you can walk or drive to Georgeham and some of the best pubs in Devon if you fancy a Sunday roast.

- Please put used towels in the bath. No need to strip the beds. - No parties or noise in the evening. - There are no stair gates installed but you are welcome to bring your own portable ones if you like. - West Saunton Barn is located next to a working farm. The farmer uses access between car parking area and garden to reach cattle barn. Please be aware of this with young children. - Unfortunately due to some previous bad experience with other guests we do have to specify to please ensure the BBQ is left clean. - This is a quiet place not suitable for large single sex groups or parties. - The BBQ area and patio seating area is for the exclusive use of guests staying in the main barn. The small garden area on the other side of the fence to the left of the main garden is for the use of the cottage. - There are external CCTV cameras at the property to protect your security. These are only external view cameras and are clearly visible on the roofline of the property. Please note that these images are only visible to the property hosts and are not publicly visible. There are NO CCTV cameras inside.

Please note that the property is located on a working farm which is one of the things we love so much about it! However, this does mean that young children need to be supervised outside at all times due to farm traffic and live-stock in the fields all around. The garden is not fenced and so young children should be supervised as the farmer uses the track between the main house and the garden to get back and forth to feed cattle at certain times of the year. ON REQUEST - We can host a further 2 children on inflatable beds in the lounge if required.
